Overview
As Editorial Manager at Wildflower Health, I led the editorial strategy and development of patient education content delivered through digital health platforms used by major U.S. health systems. The content supports patients across key life stages, including pregnancy, postpartum care, and early childhood development.
These platforms provide patients with personalized health education, care guidance, and tools designed to support informed health decisions and improve engagement with healthcare services.
Challenge
Digital health platforms require content that is medically accurate, accessible to diverse patient populations, and adaptable across multiple health system clients.
Content needed to align with clinical guidelines while also meeting strict health literacy standards and integrating seamlessly into mobile health experiences.
Additionally, as the platform expanded, the organization needed a scalable editorial system to support ongoing content development and cross-functional collaboration.
Approach
I developed and implemented editorial standards to ensure all patient-facing content was consistent, evidence-based, and accessible.
Working closely with clinicians, product teams, and marketing stakeholders, I translated clinical guidance and peer-reviewed research into patient-centered educational content designed for digital health applications.
I also created workflows to streamline content production and ensure quality assurance across large content libraries.
My Role
- Led editorial strategy for maternal, pediatric, and adult health content.
- Managed a team of writers and editors.
- Established editorial guidelines and health literacy standards.
- Collaborated with clinical, product, and marketing teams.
- Oversaw editorial production timelines and CMS deployment.
Outcome
The editorial framework I developed enabled scalable content production and ensured consistency across multiple health system implementations.
The resulting content libraries supported patient education across pregnancy and early childhood, helping health systems deliver accessible, evidence-based information through digital health platforms.
